Assim kommer opprinnelig fra Aserbajdjan.
Han bor nå i Tyrkia, og har et professoriat ved universitetet i Antalya.
Han har deltatt på flere internasjonale utstillinger i Europa, Asia og Amerika, i tillegg til en rekke separate utstillinger. 
Han arbeider er representert i flere store gallerier i Russland, Hviterussland,
Tyrkia, Aserbajdjan, Litauen, Paris, Odense m/flere, samt Martin Luther King Library I New York. I tillegg private samlinger.  


Education:
Assim Resuloglu is born in 1955, in the city Sheky, Azerbaijan. 
1971-75 Studied in Bakinsky Arts Collage named after Azim-Azim-zade.   
1975-80 Studied at the department of Monumental Painting of Bellerussia 
State Theatre- Arts Institute

Assim lives and works in Antalya, Turkey. He is a lecturer in Akdeniz University.
